The Samsung Galaxy A3 was launched in Malaysia in February along with a higher-end Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7. It is a mid-range smartphone that sports a 4.5” 960 x 540 Super AMOLED display. Right beneath that is a Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD slot up to 64GB). Other specs include 8MP rear camera, 5MP selfie camera, LTE connectivity, 1900mAh built-in battery, and runs on Android 4.4 out of the box.
