First teased through several videos last month, Dell has officially unveiled the latest iteration of its XPS 13 laptop. While XPS line of laptops have always been known for its sleek design, the 2015 XPS 13 pushed it even further with tiny 5.2mm bezels on its 13.3-inch display which made it look rather borderless.
Not only that, the laptop also has thickness of 15mm together with a maximum weight of 1.27kg. However, Dell apparently has maintain the same aluminum and carbon fiber construction that it has used in previous XPS models. Nevertheless, the company is more than proud to proclaim the 2015 XPS 13 as the smallest 13-inch laptop in the world at the moment.
Meanwhile, users are able to choose from two type of display for the 2015 XPS 13: 1920 x 1080 non-touch anti-glare display and 3200 x 1800 UltraSharp touch display which is also covered by Corning Gorilla Glass NBT. Additionally, users can also choose to equip it with up to 5th generation Core i7 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB solid state drive.
Interestingly, Dell is already ready to unleash the new 2015 XPS immediately to the world as it will be made available in United States starting from today onwards with a starting price of USD 799.99 (RM 2,859). We have no news regarding its availability in Malaysia at the moment though but we have reasons to believe that it will arrive in our shores soon enough. So, stay tuned.
