For those of you who wish to get one of Huawei’s latest wearable that was unveiled at MWC 2015, it is finally available for purchase on Vmall for a retail price of RM558.
The Huawei TalkBand B2 is a second-generation smart band from the Chinese company. Like the original TalkBand B1, it packs all the usual fitness tracking features on board, and doubles as a Bluetooth headset when you remove the core from the band. However, instead of a sporty look, Huawei has given it a new and more sophisticated look that is suitable for play and for work.
The display is now touch sensitive, which means that instead of pressing buttons to switch between apps, you can just swipe to track your steps, or swipe back to show the time. The charging has also been changed so instead of using the wristband for charging, users will have to eject the Bluetooth headset off and charge via a microUSB slot on the core.
The TalkBand B2 has either seven hours of talk time or five days of standby time as an activity tracker. Available in Vmall immediately, the Classic (black or white) version retails at RM558, while the Elite (gold) version retails at RM668.
