For those of you who would like to get a Google Chromecast, it looks like you may now do so from Maxis. The telco is offering Chromecast for RM170, inclusive of 6% GST. If you’re a MaxisONE plan subscriber, you can get it for only RM150.
Sadly though, the telco is only offering the Chromecast in their physical stores, not online store. The Chromecast is available in selected Maxis Centre including Alamanda, Alor Star, BP Mall, Bukit Mertajam, Danga Bay, e@Curve, Gardens, Imago, Ipoh, KL Sentral, Klang, KLIA, KLIA2, KLCC, Kota Bahru, Kuantan, Maxis Centre Sibu, Maxis Kuala Terengganu, Miri, Pavilion, Prai, Queensbay, Selayang, Seremban City Square, Taiping, Tmn Tun and Warisan Square.
Why watch YouTube, your favourite TV series or movies on a small mobile or tablet screen, when you can enjoy everything on the big TV at home? Chromecast allows you to push content from your smartphone, tablet or laptop directly to the big screen so you can enjoy it with your friends and family.

Chromecast is a plug and play device that connects to the HDMI port of your TV. You can get it for only RM170 from Maxis however, if you are a MaxisONE plan subscriber, you can enjoy a RM20 discount and purchase the Chromecast at only RM150.
