Asus has unveiled a suite of gaming-focused monitors, peripherals and a new SLI bridge that’s enough to make most gamers drool. These include the ROG Swift PG27AQ and MG279Q monitors, the ROG Spatha and Sica mouses, the ROG Whetstone mouse pad, and the ROG Enthusiast SLI Bridge.

The Swift PG27AQ is a 27-inch 4K monitor with an IPS panel that features NVIDIA’s G-SYNC technology, which eliminates screen tearing and minimises stutter and input lag. The 27-inch MG279Q, on the other hand, is touted as a “gaming display” by Asus for its high refresh rate of 120Hz with a grey-to-grey response time of 5ms. The monitor also has an IPS panel with a 2560 x 1440 resolution and a built-in dual USB 3.0 hub.

Joining Asus new lineup of gaming peripherals is the Spatha and Sica mouses. The Spatha is a wireless mouse that is ROG’s current flagship mouse. It is designed to give MMO and RPG players an advantage by including six customisable macro buttons on the mouse. While the Spatha is wireless, the Sica is a wired optical mouse that is marketed as a MOBA mouse. It features an ambidextrous design so that both left and right-handed players can use it comfortably.

Asus has also unveiled a new mouse pad, namely the Whetstone. This mouse pad is touted as the first ROG hybrid silicone-fabric mouse pad that was designed with inputs from Taipei Assassins, an eSports team. According to Asus, the Whetstone incorporates solid-bonding and heat-sealing techniques for a durable, high-quality finish.

Last but not least, there’s the new ROG Enthusiast SLI Bridge. This particular SLI bridge has an illuminated ROG logo and an aluminium finish, so gamers who would like to add a little bit of flair to their gaming rig will find this particular SLI bridge appealing. This SLI bridge is also available for all SLI configurations up to four-way SLI.
