World of Tanks Blitz, the mobile app version of the popular tank action simulator, has finally arrived on Android. The update also brings with it cross-platform play with iOS, a new map, new crew skills, and large number of iconic British tanks.
As a cut down version of World of Tanks, the app features 7v7 matches instead of the more substantial 15v15 games on the PC and Xbox 360. The addition of cross-platform play ensures that teams will always be filled and ease matchmaking, not to mention providing a community for new players to join.

The biggest addition for the game would be the new line of British armour that is being introduced. This includes some of the most interesting designs to come from the Commonwealth forces during World War II and the post-war period, such as the Cromwell and Centurion. These tanks may not have been as numerous as the American Shermans and Grants, but they offer a different playstyle that displays Britain’s approach to tank warfare.
World of Tanks Blitz can be found on both Android and iOS for free at their respective app stores.
