Taiwan based memory and storage manufacturer ADATA has launched the HV100 external hard drive. The hard drive is advertised by ADATA as being sturdy and resistant to minimal shock impacts, as well as being smudge and fingerprint resistant due to its sandblasted matte finish.
The device will come with a few storage capacity configurations ranging from 500GB to 2TB. Located on the device are red/blue LED lights which indicate the transfer status of files. A solid blue light will indicate that the device is properly plugged into a computer and is ready for use whereas a flashing blue LED light means that the device is currently transferring files.
The ADATA HV 100 external hard drive will come in black, white and blue and with prices starting at RM150 for the 500GB model. Although it should be noted that the blue coloured device will only come with a storage capacity of 1TB. For more information on the device, check out the official product page.
