If you were hoping to get your hands on the all new Motorola Moto G that was announced just last month then you’re in luck. The new Moto G 2014 will be available in Malaysia starting tomorrow, 25 October 2014 for only RM688 for the 8GB version.
Not to be confused with the previous generation Moto G, the new one is slightly bigger and better than before. It features a larger 5” 720p IPS Gorilla Glass display and the same guts beneath including a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage on board that is expandable via microSD slot. Camera wise, it has an 8MP f/2.0 shooter at the back, and a 2MP front camera.
Other specs include Android 4.4.4 pure Android experience out of the box and of course, it will be updatable to Android 5.0 Lollipop. It measures at 70.7 x 141.5 x 6-11mm and weighs 149 grams, and finally, like the existing Moto G, the new Moto G also comes with a swappable back cover to keep its 2070mAh battery in place.

The variant coming into Malaysia will be a Dual-SIM 8GB version. The device will be available through retail stores across Malaysia starting from 25 October at the suggested retail price of RM688.
