Creator of long-time racing franchise Grand Turismo, Kazunori Yamauchi, has revealed a possible timeframe for the release of Grand turismo 7 to be somewhere in 2015 or 2016.
“Everything will be running naturally,” said Yamauchi. He went on to add that the PS3 was much more difficult to develop for, and with the high quality data that can be rendered with the PS4, the latter will definitely make an incredible difference in terms of development.
Yamauchi also said that he and his team at Polyphony Digital have a “clear vision” for Grand Turismo 7, which is “to do everything that we couldn’t do in GT6,” he said. “We want to make it very Gran Turismo. By that I mean it’s going to be a game that matches the very era that we live in, in 2015 or 2016.”
Grand Turismo 6, the latest in the Grand Turismo series was released on the PS3 in December 2013 features over 1200 cars ranging from historic cars to the latest racing cars as well as 37 locations based on real-world racing tracks.
