For those who are not familiar with the name Illegear, it is a company based in Damansara that specializes in high performance notebook. Apart from being the authorized distributor of Gigabyte gaming notebooks such as the P35W v2 that we just reviewed recently, Illegear also utilizes Clevo notebooks in order to cater to specialized requests from its customers.
The requests could be in the form of custom paint job or artwork as well as specific hardware specifications which is why the company has confirmed that the newly announced NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M and GTX 970M GPU will be made available for Illegear notebooks very soon.
Specifically, the Illegear RS-15 and Illegear RS-17 Evo with GTX 970M and GTX 980M will arrive into Illegear’s inventory by 26 October. They will be then followed by the Illegear RX-17 Evo which will carry dual GTX 980M in SLI mode, on 31 October. All three laptop were based on Clevo P150, P177, and P377 respectively.
However, Illegear is keeping the pricing for all three laptops as a secret at the moment and will announce them in due time.
