Microsoft Devices will be holding an event next week to preview new “imaging innovations and exciting offerings” from the company. For some reason it will be held in conjunction with Golden Screen Cinemas, who will apparently also be sharing something new. It is due to happen on the 25th of September, and we have at least some idea of what will be shown.
The background image of the invite clearly shows the Lumia 830, which is likely the main announcement that will happen. It will be interesting to discover how Microsoft will be pricing their “affordable flagship” smartphone. What is still a puzzle is how GSC fits into all this; although it could just be an announcement for an official Windows Phone app (which would be great news).
