Those with access to the PlayStation Network should log in and take a look at the Capcom catalogue. Prices have been discounted by up to 75% on some titles, ranging from the popular Street Fighter series to the horror based Resident Evil franchise. Capcom’s statement on their website appears to say that they want to provide something special for their console based fans who missed the Capcom sale on Steam last weekend.
The entire list of discounted games is on the Capcom Unity website, and it even provides helpful hyperlinks to the related products on the PSN. Highlights would be Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen for US$6.99, Resident Evil: Revelations for US$13.50, and Super Street Fighter II: Turbo HD Remix for US$4.99. Another excellent title that can be revisited on the cheap is Okami HD, which provides impressive stylistic visuals and should be experienced by everyone at least once.
The Tokyo Game Show is also happening right now, and we will be bringing you more news about what is going there throughout the week; which means that Capcom should still have some more surprises for us. The offer ends on 22 September, so there is still some time to decide if these titles are worth getting into. Between this sale and the recent price adjustment on Steam, it is a very good week to be a gamer.
