Asiasoft has launched a major patch for Phantasy Star Online that will bring additional content to the MMORPG. Aside from new quests and chapters to the story, the patch also brings early access to the first final boss to Southeast Asian players. In celebration of this, it is launching a Welcome Back package for players who haven’t been playing in a while and want to jump in to see the new content.
The September patch brings a long list of improvements to the game, including increased level caps, a new difficulty setting for quests, new quests, and a new story chapter. PlayPark has a list of changes on its website for those interested in seeing what has changed. Asiasoft is also providing four new limited edition pre-paid cards; of these three can only be purchased at 7-11 outlets in Singapore and Malaysia.

A Welcome Back package is provided to players who have not logged into the game since 31 July 2014 and have at least one character above level 5. These players will receive Gold Scratch, 3 Days of Quarter Use, 1000 FUN Ticket, EXP Earned +50%, Rare Item Drop Rate +5% (x2), and a Half Revival Kit.
