At this point, it is only common to see unofficial photos of yet to be launched devices by big tech companies leak into the Web. With the upcoming Microsoft event at IFA 2014 in Berlin beginning in few days time, there are already a new batch of leaked photos along with specifications of the Nokia Lumia device codenamed “Superman”.
Based on these photos that were posted on Baidu, it seems like the new Lumia 73x will be launched in two models, the Lumia 730 and a second variant named Lumia 735. Apparently, the Lumia 730 is a dual SIM device and Lumia 735 will come with LTE connectivity.
Both of them would be mid-range offerings to the Lumia range according to the leaked specs which suggests a 720p, 4.7-inch ClearBlack display, a quad-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage with expandable memory up to 128GB, the new Lumia “Debian Red” firmware, a 6.7-megapixel camera and a 5-megapixels front facing module to satisfy the selfie taking culture.
The body of the Lumia 73x reminisces the the body of the two years old Lumia 920, a chunky form factor with a one-piece matte finish. Based on the photos and photos from previous leaks, the Lumia selfie phone would be shipped with at least three colours, green, white and black.
Depending on how you look at it, the leaked photos could either heighten or ruin your anticipation. Nevertheless, we can never be too sure on what to expect until the actual launch of the device which is expected to happen at IFA 2014 later this week.
