Online music streaming service Guvera has announced its availability in Malaysia. Guvera was founded back in 2008 by founders Claes Loberg, Brad Christensen and Darren Herft with a goal to provide people access to tons of music online the legal way that award royalties to the artists and record labels responsible for producing it. Songs in Guvera are distributed DRM-free MP3 downloads either in 256kbs and 320kps format.
The online music streaming service Company claims to provide users the ability to tailor a music experience based on their mood, activity or preferences by searching the music via hashtags. Guvera also told how it sets itself apart from other services by rewarding top listeners with special offers and opportunities to win from its music partners.
One of Guvera’s key features is that it provides and supports content that features Malaysian artists such as Joe Flizzow, SonaOne, Faizal Tahir and many more. The company also plans to reach out to the local music community and continue to support the growth of the local music catalogue.

Users have the option to either download Guvera Play, which is free and ad-supported, or subscribe to Guvera Platinum, which starts from RM 14.99 per month with unlimited online and offline access.
To celebrate the announcement, Guvera will be hosting a concert in Kuala Lumpur tonight at Lust Kuala Lumpur. The concert will feature international hip hop star and actor Mos Def, now known as Yasiin Bey, and also local acts Joe Flizzow, SonaOne and other contributing artists.
