Good news for U Mobile prepaid users, calling has just gotten a lot more affordable with U Mobile’s new Voice Plans that allows you to make calls from as low as RM0.08/minute. There are two new Voice Plans – V20 and V30 that costs RM20 and RM30 respectively, and comes bundled with voice minutes that are valid for 30 days.
First up, V20 comes with 200 minutes of talk time (100 mins onnet, 100 mins offnet) and if you exceed that, additional calls will be charged at RM0.10 per minute. As for V30, it comes bundled with 360 minutes (180 mins onnet, 180 mins offnet) and extra minutes will be charged at RM0.08 per minute. These plans are only valid for 30 days and unused minutes for both plans can be carried forward the next month, but only for those who renew matching plans, e.g. V30 Plan renew to V30 Plan.
To subscribe, just call *118*3*6*1#, select your desired package and confirm it. Alternatively, send “ON V20” for V20; or “ON V30” for V30, and send to 28118 via SMS.
You can check your balance simply by calling *118*3*6*2# or sending an SMS to 28118 with the text “Voice Balance”.
If you have an existing UMI plan, UMI entitlements will be utilized before deduction from Voice Plan.
