So the iPhone 6 Sapphire glass performed very, very well in the last torture test we saw, but it doesn’t mean that it’s unbreakable. A video was posted by HK’s Apple Daily website, showing off a series of tortures made to the iPhone 6 front panel and finally crushing it under a vehicle.
In the video, the user made a series of tortures to the panel, which includes stabbing the display with a knife, burning it, scratching it with keys, pin, and blade, and many more, but the alas, the Sapphire Glass succumbed under a 1.6-ton vehicle.
Impressed?
I’m not looking forward to how much more expensive the iPhone 6 will be if it really comes with a Sapphire glass, but in the long run, I’m sure you can save up on buying multiple screen protectors, right?
