Need a new second mobile phone for emergencies, or looking for a new phone for your parents? Ninetology is now giving out its basic mobile phone – the Ninetology Vox Class, for free when you purchase a Tune Talk SIM Pack and top up for RM118. The SIM Pack bundle comes with RM100 worth of airtime which will be credited back to your account over the span of four months.
To be eligible for the offer, you will need to visit Ninetology and fill up a registration form on its Facebook page. Submit and share on Facebook, and an e-voucher will be sent to your email. Print and bring it to the nearest dealer to purchase the bundle. The redemption is valid only from Mid July 2014 onwards or while stocks last.
But before you proceed, here are some pointers that are good to know. While the Ninetology VOX Class may be a feature phone, it still packs some essential features like preinstalled WhatsApp and Facebook, a very basic 1.3MP camera, microSD slot up to 32GB, Dual-SIM support, Mobile TV and more. The RM100 airtime will be credited back to you over 4 months at RM25 a month so if you would like to get your value worth, you’ll need to keep the line activated for at least 4 months.
Moreover, according to Ninetology’s promotion page, the Tune Talk SIM card will be sealed in the device itself. The VOX Class comes with 6 months warranty but if the sealed SIM card is removed within this period of time, warranty will be void. Sounds like a rather weird feature but hey, at least you have a second SIM slot for another number.
