While the BlackBerry Z3 “Jakarta” is on its way to our shores and will be debuting next week, there has been another colloquially codenamed device spotted in the land of the mobile phone leaks, Vietnam. The BlackBerry “Kopi” is an entry level device that sports a 4.5inch 720p display putting it squarely in between the Z10 and the Z30.
The BlackBerry Kopi’s specs are very sparse but what we do know is that its running the older BlackBerry OS 10.2, 1.5GB RAM, has a 5MP rear camera and a hot swappable 2,100mAh battery. The codename is quite confusing as the Q5 was also codenamed Kopi to the best of our knowledge. We’ll see how this works out and if its priced low enough to remain competitive.
