Between waxing lyrical about the mystical properties of chi, Asus head Jonney Shih managed to introduce the Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi, the thinnest 12.5-inch detachable 2-in-1 laptop. The company claims that the device is only 14.3mm when combined, with the tablet section only measuring 3mm thick at the thinnest part.
It is powered by Intel’s “high-performance and low-power Core micro-architecture”, which would indicate another 64-bit Atom processor. If only because every other device Asus has announced at Computex so far sports are variation of this processor.
Rounding out the specifications is a 2560 x 1440 WQHD display and LTE capability. Not to mention that the Transformer Book T300 Chi is Shih’s dream machine.
