In a day rife with leaks and speculation, it seems that the more rugged version of Samsung’s Flagship Smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active has made an early appearance in a hands on video on youtube. From what we can see and what the video tells us, this is a pre production unit and its unclear if it will have the same finish as this when it finally hits shelves. Under the hood, it’s the same as the S5 with the exception of the faster Snapdragon 801 variant.
Seeing as how the S5 is already IP57/67 rated, will there still be a need for an active version of the device? What do you think?
