Are you excited about the Samsung Galaxy S5 that will be officially available this Friday, 11 April 2014? Of course, you are and for those of you who have already preordered your device, here’s a video to make you even more excited. The Samsung Galaxy S5 gets put through two extreme water tests – one submerging it under water twice as long as it is “allowed to” (on papers), and another that puts it through a 50 minutes wash cycle in a washing machine. One of the most interesting things about the Samsung Galaxy S5 would definitely have to be its IP67 certification, allowing it to be submerged under 1 meters of water for up to 30 minutes, but what if it gets submerged for twice that time limit – an hour? Here’s a spoiler, it survived, but what if it was put inside a front-loading washing machine for a 50 minutes wash cycle, tumbling and fumbling along with a pair of jeans because that’s the place it most likely would have to be in in order to end up in a washing machine?
