Nintendo has announced a special promotion for the month of March. Anyone who registers a new 3DS, 3DSXL, or 2DS along with one of six selected games will receive a code for either Pokemon X or Y. The console and game must be registered during the month of March, and the code received is only valid until May; so if there wasn’t a reason to pick up a 3DS before, you might want to consider it now.
The six games are: Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins and Yoshi’s New Island. These titles are generally titles that would be bought anyway, and Pokemon X and Y are generally considered to be a worthy refresh to the series.
