Fresh from being unveiled at Barcelona yesterday, we already know early on that the Nokia X is on its way to our market. However, we didn’t expect it to be launched in Malaysia this fast.
According to the press invite that we have just received from Nokia Malaysia, the launch event has been scheduled to take place on 5 March which is only around one week away. Of course, this doesn’t mean that the Nokia X will be released to public on the same day though.
Since there are three variants in the family, Nokia X should be the first model to be made available for Malaysian consumers as Nokia XL will only be launched in the next quarter. According to our sources in the distribution channels, Nokia X+ will not be released in Malaysia somehow.
As usual, no pricing information were included with the above press invite but we are expecting it to be within the range of RM 400. We will be there at the Nokia X Malaysian launch event, so stay tuned for more details next week.
