First unveiled at the recent CES 2014 in Las Vegas, Alcatel One Touch Malaysia has recently announced the immediate availability of yet another new device for our market called the Alcatel One Touch Pop C9. Featuring a 5.5-inch IPS display with 540 x 980 resolution and oleophobic coating, the Pop C9 comes standard with Android 4.2.2 and runs on a 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6582M quad-core processor.
With a thickness of 9.5mm, Alcatel One Touch Pop C9 is also equipped with 1GB of RAM and 4GB worth of internal storage whereby 2GB of them can be accessed by users. Of course, users are able to add more storage space to the phablet since the Pop C9 supports microSD card with capacity of up to 32GB. For Malaysian market, the phablet is made available as a dual-SIM model with dual standby capability and supports HSPA+ connectivity of up to 21Mbps.
Camera-wise, the Pop C9 features an 8-megapixels camera and a LED flash on the back while there is also another 2-megapixels camera on the front.
