Xiaomi Giving Out Coupons for Malaysian Fans for MIUI 4th Anniversary Sale

Xiaomi’s MIUI ROM turns 4 this Saturday, August 16. With over 65 million activated users, and over 30 million active users as of December 2013, the company is celebrating the anniversary of the software in a very big way. Across all of its markets, Xiaomi is holding its own unique promotion and a massive sale happening this Saturday.

For Malaysian Mi Fans, Xiaomi is offering everyone coupons that can be used for its mega sale this Saturday. In fact, it is offering rebates worth up to RM1.4 million, and a chance to win a WCDMA (3G) Mi 4 smartphone. There will be three types of coupons that will be given out:

  1. RM25 coupon for any Xiaomi phone purchase
  2. RM10 coupon for any Xiaomi accessory purchase
  3. RM5 coupon for any Xiaomi accessory purchase

The company states that everyone will be able to get the Mi coupon, though the coupons will only appear on each registered users’ accounts on mi.com/my after 10pm on Friday (August 15). To get these coupons, you’ll have to like Xiaomi Malaysia’s Facebook page, and then be given a “profile rating” (Mi Star/Mi Influencer etc.) based on your order history, before receiving your coupon. After that, you’ll need to share the link on Facebook before being automatically entered for the Mi 4 draw.

This Saturday’s sale will feature the Mi 3, Redmi 1S and 5200mAh Mi Power Bank (starting at 10am) and the Redmi Note and 10400mAh Mi Power Bank at 12pm. You can use the coupons only for this sale. In addition, Xiaomi is also offering new Redmi 1S bundles, which offers up to 50% off the bundled accessories.
