Xiaomi has just mentioned that the second round of sales for the Mi 3 and Mi Power Bank has been postponed due to technical issues. After experiencing exceptionally heavy traffic at the first round of sales last week, the company seems to prefer erring on the side of caution this time round.
As a result, Xiaomi Malaysia has confirmed that the second round of sales will be delayed to tomorrow, at the same time (12pm). The issue, Xiaomi noted, stems from technical issues with Amazon Web Services that affected the www.mi.com/my site which may affect today’s sales. Despite resolving the issue and running tests to ensure all is working, Xiaomi has decided to delay the sales to circumvent any potential issues.
Well, that’s another 24 hours of waiting, then.
