ASUS ZenFone SEA Launch 01

First announced at CES 2014 earlier this year, ASUS today is launching their new ZenFone smartphone for South East Asia region here in Jakarta. Running on Android, the ZenFone series is powered by Intel Atom Z2000 family of dual-core processors and is available in the size of 4-inch as well as 5-inch and 6-inch.

The official pricing for Malaysian market has yet to be announced but based on the leaked information last month, the series will be priced RM 299, RM 599, and RM 899 for ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6 respectively.

We expect those pricing will hold up once ASUS Malaysia decided to release the official information as they are very close to the Indonesian pricing that ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih announced today as well as the US pricing that was announced at CES 2014.

The ASUS ZenFone is expected to be released in Malaysia in the middle of April 2014…which is about now. Stay tuned to see more of ASUS brand new affordable ZenFone coming your way very soon but for the meantime, check out some sights from the launch event below:
