If you are a film buff, then I’m pretty sure you are aware that today is the The Oscars day – one of the biggest award in the industry. Hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, she has posted out quite a number of selfies on her Twitter account from the event including the one above.
Believe it or not, it has become the most popular post on Twitter to date.
Snapped with a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (the Korean company is apparently one of the main advertiser at Oscar this year), the selfie includes Ellen and a number of well-known Hollywood figures at the event such as Jennifer Lawrence, Brad Pitt, Jared Leto and Angelina Jolie.
At the time this article is written, the amount of retweets that the post has received is around 1.9 million while the previous record holder – by Barack Obama, nevertheless – is around 780,000.
Meanwhile, the main award of the night belonged to 12 Years A Slave in the Best Picture category while Matthew McConaughey in Dallas Buyers Club and Cate Blanchett in Blue Jasmine are the winners for the Best Actor and Actresses in a Leading Role respecitvely.
