Sony Mobile Malaysia has opened pre-registrations for two of its latest smartphones, the Xperia Z1 Compact and Xperia T2 Ultra. For now, though, the pre-registrations only mean you’ll be the first to know when the two devices will be available in Malaysia. The significance of the pre-registrations, of course, means that it is all but confirmed that the Xperia Z1 Compact and Xperia T2 Ultra will indeed be coming to Malaysia – and hopefully soon.
What’s also interesting to note is that Sony Mobile Malaysia’s website also contains a product page for Sony’s latest SmartWear: the SmartBand and the removable Core unit.
Both the Xperia Z1 Compact and the SmartBand were only announced last week at CES 2014, while the Xperia T2 Ultra (and its dual-SIM variant, the Xperia T2 Ultra Dual) were announced almost out of the blue earlier this week.
