The news many an Android fan has been waiting for is finally here. Well, while the Nexus 5 is still nowhere to be seen officially in Malaysia, the other Android smartphone that’s gotten people excited is going to be here very soon. We’ve just received an invite for the official launch of the Motorola Moto G next Wednesday.
The mid-range smartphone packs some pretty awesome hardware for its price, where it is sold from $179 (around RM600) in the US. For example, there’s a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, a 4.5-inch 720p display, 5MP camera, a 2070mAh battery and an almost vanilla Android 4.3.
In fact, local e-tailer Lazada has already begun pre-orders for the Moto G, with the product said to be officially available from January 23. On top of that, we hear that Storekini has something in store as well…we’ll update this post when we hear from them.
