Rumor and Leaks: Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Tab 3 and S4 Zoom

Note 3 1

A brand new week, a brand new set of rumors from Samsung. It looks like the Samsung’s event that will be happening on 20 June 2013 in London will be a very, very action-packed one, the company has recently confirmed two upcoming devices – Galaxy S4 mini and Galaxy S4 Active, and here are more brewing in the rumor mill –  Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Tab 3 and the one I’m looking forward to, the Galaxy S4 Zoom.

First up, prototypes of the Galaxy Note 3 has recently made its way to the internet, sporting a rather square design that sort of reminds me of the Galaxy S II. While I’m glad that this may be a hint that the company is finally retiring the recently Galaxy design language, going back a step isn’t very pleasing either. Of course, this is only a prototype, the device is scheduled to be announced in September so plenty of time for Samsung to work on it.

Specs wise, according to recent rumors, it’s supposed to pack a 5.99” Full HD Super AMOLED display, powered by an octa-core Exynos 5 processor or a quad-core Snapdragon 800, 13MP camera with OIS, and will run on Android 4.3 out of the box.

As for the Galaxy Tab 3, last week, the company confirmed the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and 10.1, which will be available for showcase in its London event. The company did not mention any color availability in its press release and if you were wondering if Samsung would use any other color besides the typical black and white option, @evleaks recently posted a picture of the said device in gold-brown color.

Finally, remember the Samsung Galaxy Camera? It looks like Samsung took the Camera, redesigned the front to look like the S4, and called it the Galaxy S4 Zoom. According to recent leaks (and rendering from SamMobile), the S4 Zoom will look like an S4 mini thanks to its 4.3” display, and will pack all the goodness of a physical camera – a physical shutter button and a gigantic lens hopefully packing some great zooming capability and optical image stabilizer.
