Dell Malaysia has added the new Vostro 5460 laptop in its Vostro range of business-oriented laptops. Touted as the thinnest and lightest Vostro laptop to date, the new Vostro 5460 is one of the sleekest laptops in its class.
Featuring a 14-inch 1366 x 768 WLED TrueLife display, the Vostro also sports a dedicated subwoofer alongside stereo speakers with Waves MaxxAudio 4.0 enhancements – quite an achievement for a chassis that’s less than 19mm thick and weighs only 1.54kg. In addition, the Vostro 5460 packs a full-sized chiclet keyboard, three USB 3.0 ports (one with Power Share capability), an SD card reader, an HDMI port, headphone/microphone combo jack, a 1MP 720p webcam, as well as the standard connectivity options such as WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and an Ethernet port.
In addition, the new Vostro 5460 laptop also sports a 500GB hard disk with 32GB SSD cache. Being a Dell laptop, the new Vostro 5460 brings plenty of customisation options for potential customers. Customers can opt for an Intel Core i3 or i5 processor, a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT630M GPU, and even between Windows 8 or Ubuntu Linux. In addition, all Vostro laptops come with a one-year In-Home Service warranty, with a limited-time option to upgrade to a three-year warranty for RM249.
The new Dell Vostro 5460 laptop is available in Graphite Silver or Fire red, and is available to purchase at its official website here with prices starting from RM1549 (Ubuntu Linux) and RM1749 (Windows 8).
