Before we begin, let’s start off by wishing Google Play a “Happy first Birthday”. Exactly a year ago on 6 March 2012, Google decided to rename its Android Market to Google Play, and in celebration of its first anniversary, Google is giving away free apps and more – free music downloads, in-game content, TV shows, books, discounts and such.
First up, visit Google Play Store now to download several free games specially catered to celebrate this special day with Google. The company is also giving away some in-app exclusive deals such as 10% discount on hotels booked through Hotels.com app and a USD$15 gift card on your first order via Fancy for Android app. Unfortunately for us in Malaysia, we won’t be able to enjoy the free music, books and TV shows.
