So with BlackBerry OS 10 imminent, RIM have decided to rename what was formerly known as BlackBerry App World to just BlackBerry World, in line with the idea that with BB10, you will be increasing the area of focus to videos and music content as well. Garnering 15,000 BlackBerry 10 app submissions in just 2 days, RIM call BlackBerry World “the one-stop shop for all your mobile entertainment needs”. Existing users will see the new store name within the next 24 hours and over the course of time, we will be able to see how fleshed out this new store will be.
