Angry Birds Rio may have been available for quite some time now, it is after all, the first the first Angry Birds app with a twist but if you haven’t already purchased it for your iOS devices – USD$0.99 for the iPhone and USD$2.99 for the iPad, you can now get it for free on both counts so iPad owners who think that it’s not worth paying another $2 for the same app, here’s your chance to see if a HD app is really worth the money.
Do note though that while the app may be free, it doesn’t apply to in-app purchases so watch out what you click on within the game. Angry Birds Rio was first introduced in March 2011, the third Angry Birds game released by Rovio Entertainment. It was released as a tie-in with the animated film Rio to promote the movie.
