The ASUS ROG line has always been a favourite with enthusiasts despite not really being fully available in Malaysia. Today ASUS announced the follow-up to their ARES graphics card, the ARES II. Featuring 2 AMD Radeon HD7970 GPUs at a clock speed of 1050MHz it claims to be the fastest graphics card available, a 13% improvement over the NVIDIA GTX690 reference card. There’s 6GB of video memory, 1,100MHz boost clock, 1,050MHz base clock and 2 x 384-bit memory interface. There are no exact details at this time but all we know is that as it is a limited edition, it’s definitely not going to be cheap.
