Wargaming has announced that the latest update for World of Tanks will be going live on 26 December. The update will bring with it 16 new tanks. Fourteen of those tanks will be from the new Japanese tech tree, while the remaining two expand the Russian medium tank line.
Historically, Japanese tanks were designed with mobility and infantry support in mind; which left them with weaker defences than their contemporary counterparts.. This might mean that while the new models won’t see much competitive play, it does fall in line with Wargaming’s dedication to detail and completion.
A new map, called the Hidden Village, is also included in the update.
