Android 4.4 KitKat may have been around for some time now, it’s only available for very limited number of devices. Some phone manufacturers like Sony has already given a timeline as to when they will release the update for some of their flagship devices and while Samsung has not mentioned anything, according to a French carrier, SFR, the update will be reaching Samsung Galaxy S4 and Note 3 devices as early as late January 2014.
SFR has been quite accurate as to giving away dates for software updates so good news for Galaxy S4 and Note 3 owners. Now let’s keep our fingers crossed that the update will reach Malaysia soon and will not be as disappointing as the Android 4.3 update for older Samsung Galaxy smartphones; I’m still waiting for the Android 4.3 update for my S3.
