“When [insert the name of the product] will be released in Malaysia?” is a common question that we received right after almost every product launch event. Same goes for the recent launch of Microsoft Surface 2 but unfortunately, Microsoft Malaysia is still not able to confirm the availability of the new tablet to us although they have embarked on retail expansion for Surface as well as extended its availability to commercial sector.
That being said, we just found out that you can actually request directly (sort of) to Microsoft to release Surface 2 in Malaysia. Of course, we have no idea whether all the requests will have any effect on Microsoft’s existing launch plans for Surface 2 or if the demands will actually be taken seriously by them.
