Ninetology U9X1

Part of the recently launched Ninetology U9 Series, the Ninetology U9X1 is the “smallest” out of the three smartphones in the series. Of course, the 10mm-thick device with dual-SIM functionality is not exactly something that you can call “small” since the U9X1 is actually graced with a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280×720.

Just like its two bigger brothers, the U9X1 contains a MediaTek MT6589 chipset which features a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU and PowerVR SGX544 GPU. Alongside the chipset, there are also 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage together as well as the support for microSD card with capacity of up to 32GB.

Within its predominantly glossy plastic shell, the U9X1 is also equipped with a f2.0 13-megapixels camera on its together with 2.0-megapixels camera on the front. Last but not least, the device also runs Android 4.2 out of the box and is powered by a 2200mAh battery.

Priced at RM 1099, the Ninetology U9X1 is pretty much the most affordable device in the U9 Series and is expected to be released in the market in the middle of August. Take a closer at the device through more hands-on photos right after the jump.
