Pay a flat monthly fee and download as much paid Android apps into your device: that is the general modus operandi of Mobiroo which hailed all the way from Canada. Through partnership with Celcom, the service is now available in Malaysia through the telco’s multimedia channel called The Cube.
Currently priced at RM 9.90 per month (instead of the standard monthly fee of RM 18.80) as part of the service’s initial promotion, subscribers will have access to more than 750 (and growing) paid Android apps in Mobiroo’s catalog. Additionally, up to two devices are allowed to be linked to a single account and the monthly fee is charged directly to subscribers’ monthly postpaid bill or prepaid account.
Celcom customers that are interested to check out the service are able to download Mobiroo’s app by browsing m.thecube.my or dialling *888# through their Android devices. Meanwhile, local developers that are interested to commercialize their apps on Mobiroo are also welcomed to contact the company directly at corporate.mobiroo.com/developers.
