Finally after introducing a brand new postpaid plan – Postpaid Simple, it looks like DiGi has decided to offer device bundle with the plan along with a mobile internet plan of your choice – Mobile Internet 28 for 250MB of data, Mobile Internet 48 for 1GB or Mobile Internet 88 for 2GB.

Do take not that although the device is “free”, you will still need to pay an upfront payment of RM360, which will be given back to you in the form of rebates of RM15 over the period of 24 months.
The Sony Xperia E is the latest entry level device from Sony that features a 3.5” display and is powered by a 1GHz Cortex-A5 processor. Running on Android 4.1, it has a 3MP camera at the back that is capable of VGA-quality videos at 30fps.
The device is also offered by other local telcos including Maxis (also free). Celcom used to offer it from RM108 but the link to the website has been taken down.
