You can always count to Red Bull Blue & Silver (Product of Europe) when it comes to extreme sports events like this. Building of the foundation that Red Bull Hill Chasers has left back in December 2012, the world famous energy drink is organizing yet another biking event this coming Sunday, 7 July. If the Hill Chasers was an urban uphill race in Bangsar, this weekend’s Red Bull Jungle Meltdown 2013 goes the other way around as it is a high speed downhill race at Bukit Ramlee (said to be one of the finest downhill trail in the country) in Shah Alam.
First of its kind in the country, the Red Bull Jungle Meltdown 2013 will begin with time trial involving 100 selected riders from Malaysia and around the region. From there, the top 16 riders will be then go down the trail once again (which includes a 17ft drop) head-to-head until the best rider emerges. While the registration has now closed, spectators are welcome to check out all the action at the trail starting from 8:00am onwards.
