I think it’s safe to say that most of us are expecting Samsung to announce their next generation Note smartphone at the upcoming Samsung Unpack event at Berlin, Germany, but what else will the company have to surprise their fans? According to recent reports, Samsung will also unveil the much talked about Galaxy Gear smartwatch. Reported by SamMobile, Samsung will unveil the watch as a companion accessory to the company’s lineup of devices.
Earlier this year, Samsung already confirmed that they are indeed working on a smartwatch and they could be using the name Galaxy Gear for the device; the name was submitted to a trademark filing earlier this month. We can’t be sure of what it looks like and if it will carry Samsung’s flexible display that was announced in MWC 2013, but according to a patent filing, it looks like it just might.
