Look at who just got smarter, it seems like Siri is now capable of learning how to pronounce words – names to be precise. According to 9to5Mac, you can teach Siri how to properly pronounce your name, especially useful for this part of the world since our names are not exactly common ones that Siri might have in her (or his since Siri now has a new male voice) database.
I can’t seem to get it to run on my iOS 7 beta 2, but according to 9to5Mac, all you need to say “that’s not how you pronounce [name]” and Siri will go through a learning process. I think it’s time to tell Siri to stop calling me “hue”, I’m not a shade of color.
