Toshiba Refreshes its Entire Line of Notebooks

Toshiba Notebook Refresh

Look at what Toshiba just announced, a whole collection of new notebooks including a gaming notebook – Qosmio X75, the all new Satellite P Series, S Series, C Series and L Series. First up, the Qosmio X75 is a new gaming laptop from the company that is powered by the latst Intel Haswell Core i7 processor. Designed with a gunmetal-gray chassis and glowing red accents, the gaming laptop features a 3GB NVIDIA GeForce 770M GPU on board with up to 32GB of RAM made possible by 4 open memory bays. Other specs include up to 1.25TB of HDD space (SDD is optional), a HDMI 1.4 port that is capable of outputting 4K content, and will ship with Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements. The device price will start at USD$1,550.

Toshiba Satellite P Series

The P Series is Toshiba’s premium series of notebooks that packs the best stuffs from the company. The new P Series, available in 15- and 17-inch, is powered by the latest Intel chips – i5 or i7, but if that’s not your thing, it is  also available with AMD’s A10 chip on board. With up to 1TB of internal storage, you can configure it with an optional 2GB NVIDIA GeForce 740M GPU for maximum performance. Other specs include an HDMI 1.4 port, Harman Kardon Speakers with DTS sound, sleep-and-charge, 25% thinner than previous generation, the 15” will have touch and non-touch configuration, while the 17” device is a non-touch device. The suggested retail price will start from USD$800.

Toshiba Satellite S Series

Moving slightly downwards in terms of specs and design is the Satellite S Series. Powered by none other than the latest Intel Haswell processors, S Series is available in screen sizes ranging from 14- to 17-inches. Specs wise, the S Series is available with a touch display, Blu-ray drive, and discrete graphics. The 14” and 15” options has a resolution of 1,366 x 768, while the 17” has a resolution of 1,600 x 900 though according to Engadget, the 15- and 17- variants will be offered with 1080p panels.

Toshiba Satellite C Series

The C Series from Toshiba is the company’s entry-level range of notebooks. Available in 15- an 17-inch screen size, this series of notebook has a retail price starting at USD$399 when you opt for the lowest specs – Intel Pentium processor, 4GB of RAM, and 500GB of HDD space. The more expensive models will feature an Intel Core i3 and AMD A4 / A6 processors with up to 750GB of storage and yes, you can opt for touch displays.

Toshiba Satellite L Series

The L Series is a mainstream notebook series from Toshiba with a starting price from USD$600. It features all the usual stuffs – chiclet keyboard, chambered speakers, USB 3.0 ports, Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor, up to 1TB of internal storage and will be available in both touch and non-touch options.
