In conjunction with its 15th anniversary this year, Sony Computer Entertainment have decided to organize a birthday bash for the famed Gran Turismo series by Polyphony Digital which is among the best racing game series out there. To take place at the renowned Silverstone Race Circuit in England on 15 May, SCE have listed quite a number of attraction for the celebration including rides through the circuit with Nissan PlayStation GT Academy driver and appearances of real life vehicles from many of the manufacturers that actually appeared in Gran Turismo.
But among all the glitz and glory, we are more excited of this particular subject more than all the attractions at the event (since UK is quite a distance from Malaysia): the future of Gran Turismo series. That’s right, the series producer Kazunori Yamauchi will be talking about what is next for the long-running racing game series at the Gran Turismo’s 15th anniversary event in Silverstone.
Of course, SCE has stated that Kazunori Yamauchi will be making some announcement at the event but what is all about? Could it be Gran Turismo 6? Rest assured, we’ll keep a look for updates from Gran Turismo’s 15th anniversary event even though we might not be at Silverstone ourselves.
