Following the release of NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M and GeForce 710M earlier this year, NVIDIA has officially unveiled yet another batch of GeForce 700M GPUs that will made their ways to notebooks on the market soon. These new GPUs include the Kepler-based GeForce GT 750M, GT 745M, GT 740M and GT 735M as well as the Fermi-based GT 720M.
Apart from offering up to 6.3 time more performance than the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 inside the current generation of Intel Core processors, this batch of NVIDIA GeForce 700M GPUs also mark the arrival of GPU Boost 2.0 to NVIDIA’s mobile GeForce GPUs. Depending on the available headroom on respective applications and systems, the feature dynamically adjust the clock speed of GeForce 700M GPUs to squeeze even more firepower from them – with performance increase of up to 15-percent, according to NVIDIA.
As usual, the new NVIDIA GeForce 700M GPUs also support the company’s other in-house technologies such as Optimus dynamic GPU switcher and the cloud-based GeForce Experience automatic game configurator. Numerous OEMs such as Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI, Samsung, Sony and Toshiba are already committed to producing notebooks featuring the new NVIDIA GeForce 700M GPUs which should be available in the shelves soon enough.
