Looking for a new postpaid plan to sign up to? Check out DiGi’s new DG Smart Plan that comes with data, free calls and free SMS all in one. Unlike the old DG Smart Plan (Smart Plan 48, Smart Plan 68, Smart Plan 88) that comes with only data and you get charged for pay-as-you-use calls and SMS, the new plans – DG Smart Plan 58 and DG Smart Plan 88 – are more affordable and comes bundled with up to 4GB of data, 300 minutes and 300 SMS. Do note that Smart Plan 58 comes with 200 free minutes and 200 free SMS within the same network only while Smart Plan 88 bundle of 300 free minutes and 300 free SMS are to all networks. DiGi has also separated the internet quota to Mobile Internet Quota and Smart Apps Quota. Smart Apps Quota refers to the amount of data used on smart applications such as Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp
With the introduction of these plans, the old ones will no longer be available. All new phone bundles from DiGi will come with these new plans instead. It looks like DiGi has also given its phone bundle a good cleanup; the telco is now only offering very limited devices including the latest ones – Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy Note 10.1, Galaxy Tab 2, HTC One X, HTC Butterfly, Nexus 4, iPhone 5, and iPad.
